四、比賽規定Regulations:

  1. 比賽分為國際組(含外文系、境外生及通識英文AU1、AU2學生，建議多益600分以上報名)與校內組(通識英文AU3, AU4, AU5學生)

The contest contains two groups: 1. International group (DFLL students, international students, General English AU1&AU2 students are included) and 2. Campus group (General English AU3,AU4,AU5 students). Students who got a TOEIC score over 600 should join International group.

 

  1. 採分組競賽，2人到10人為一組參賽，原創照片數不能少於參賽人數。

          This is a group contest, each group consists of 2-10 people, and the collection of original photos should be equal to or exceed the total number of participants. 

 

  1. 內容須以全英文呈現，利用5-10張原創照片，說明一個故事或事件，每張圖片需搭配

       50-80字敘述。The content should be in English. Contestants take 5 to 10 original photos to tell a story or an event. Each photo should be accompanied by 50 to 80 words.

 

  1. 敘述可加入小故事、笑話、自身經歷或是想像故事，文字與照片需具關連性，連結為一個完整圖文敘述。

The story can be an anecdote, an interesting story, personal experience or from your imagination. The captions should relate to the photos.

 

  1. 圖片與文字需原創(可修圖)，結合為一創作作品，尺寸為A3(420mm×297mm)，並請以PDF檔或JPG檔繳交。

Story and photos must be original (Photos may be modified). Story and photos are required to be presented together as an A3 size (420mm×297mm) poster. Contestants should turn in the poster as a PDF or a JPG file.

 

  1. 請於作品右下角註明「2018 English Photo Story Contest」。

At the right bottom corner, please include the following words: “2018 English Photo Story Contest. ”.

 

  1. 採網絡報名，由語發中心網頁(http://cltr.asia.edu.tw) 或計畫網頁(http://egc.asia.edu.tw) ，點選「英文連環創意圖文比賽」線上報名連結(需google帳戶登入)及填寫參賽資料，於報名頁面雲端上傳參賽作品，並親自繳交簽名切結書到M204，確認後，即完成報名。

Electronic sign up link will be available on CDLTR website  http://cltr.asia.edu.tw and MOE Curriculum Reform Project website  http://egc.asia.edu.tw. Submit register information and your completed poster online by logging in google account. Each group needs hand in a declaration with register signatures to M204 to complete the registration.

五、注意事項Notification:

  1. 本比賽為EFL學生比賽，如隊員中包含母語為英文之參賽者，則不符合參賽資格，無法參加比賽。

Since this is an EFL contest and the focus is to motivate students who live in countries where English is a foreign language, if participants come from a country where one of the official languages is English (or the participant has a passport from a country where English is an official language), that student cannot participate in the contest.

 

  1. 參賽者於參加此競賽同時，即同意接受上述各項規範，本活動辦法若有未盡事宜，主辦單位保有隨時修改、變更之權利並公告於中心網站上。若遇爭議，經本活動評審團會議決議，逕由主辦單位公告實施。

If there is any dispute regarding the regulations, the competition judges will have a meeting for resolution, and the decisions and revised regulations will be announced by the organizer online.

 

  1. 如於審查期間，發現圖或文有抄襲，即取消比賽資格。

 If the judges find either the story or the photos are plagiarized, the group will be disqualified.

 

  1. 若得獎者經主辦單位發現有圖或文抄襲之嫌，即取消比賽得獎資格並收回獎金。

If the organizer finds any winning work is plagiarized, participants’ award will be canceled and prizes will be recovered.

 

  1. 如經審查發現內容涉及侵害他人色情、暴力或有妨礙社會正當風氣之圖像或文字，主辦單位有權終止該作品參賽權。

            ​If the judges find any disturbing images (violence, nudity, or sexual content) the group will be disqualified. 

 

六、評分標準 Criteria:

英文表達或寫作能力 English composition ability (30%)

描述圖片之英文文法正確度以及單字使用準確率 Accuracy of English use

創意度 Creativity (30%)

內容創意　Creativity shown in the story and photos

整體表現 Overall presentation (20%)

圖文搭配、內容完整性 Coordination between caption and photos

照片呈現 Photography (20%)

照片是否精美或有趣Photos’ quality & uniqueness

 

七、獎勵辦法Prizes:

分國際組及校內組評選 Each Group will have 1st, 2nd, 3rd prize and 2 Outstanding Awards.

第一名:每組3,000元獎金，各參賽者獎狀乙只。

First prize: NT$ 3,000 & certificates.

第二名:每組2,000元獎金，各參賽者獎狀乙只。

Second prize: NT$ 2,000 & certificates.

第三名:每組1,000元獎金，各參賽者獎狀乙只。

Third prize: NT$ 1,000 & certificates.

佳作(二名):每組500元獎金，各參賽者獎狀乙只。

Outstanding Award: NT$500 & certificates
