征稿日期 Call for works: 3/1(四)~4/11(三)  Mar. 1st (Thu.)~Apr. 11th (Wed.)

颁奖典礼 Award ceremony: 4/18(三)  Apr. 18th(Wed.)  

四、比赛规定Regulations:

  1. 比赛分为国际组(含外文系、境外生及通识英文AU1、AU2学生，建议多益600分以上报名)与校内组(通识英文AU3, AU4, AU5学生)

The contest contains two groups: 1. International group (DFLL students, international students, General English AU1&AU2 students are included) and 2. Campus group (General English AU3,AU4,AU5 students). Students who got a TOEIC score over 600 should join International group.

 

  1. 采分组竞赛，2人到10人为一组参赛，原创照片数不能少于参赛人数。

          This is a group contest, each group consists of 2-10 people, and the collection of original photos should be equal to or exceed the total number of participants. 

 

  1. 内容须以全英文呈现，利用5-10张原创照片，说明一个故事或事件，每张图片需搭配

       50-80字叙述。The content should be in English. Contestants take 5 to 10 original photos to tell a story or an event. Each photo should be accompanied by 50 to 80 words.

 

  1. 叙述可加入小故事、笑话、自身经历或是想像故事，文字与照片需具关连性，连结为一个完整图文叙述。

The story can be an anecdote, an interesting story, personal experience or from your imagination. The captions should relate to the photos.

 

  1. 图片与文字需原创(可修图)，结合为一创作作品，尺寸为A3(420mm×297mm)，并请以PDF档或JPG档缴交。

Story and photos must be original (Photos may be modified). Story and photos are required to be presented together as an A3 size (420mm×297mm) poster. Contestants should turn in the poster as a PDF or a JPG file.

 

  1. 请于作品右下角注明「2018 English Photo Story Contest」。

At the right bottom corner, please include the following words: “2018 English Photo Story Contest. ”.

 

  1. 采网络报名，由语发中心网页(http://cltr.asia.edu.tw) 或计画网页(http://egc.asia.edu.tw) ，点选「英文连环创意图文比赛」线上报名连结(需google帐户登入)及填写参赛资料，于报名页面云端上传参赛作品，并亲自缴交签名切结书到M204，确认后，即完成报名。

Electronic sign up link will be available on CDLTR website  http://cltr.asia.edu.tw and MOE Curriculum Reform Project website  http://egc.asia.edu.tw. Submit register information and your completed poster online by logging in google account. Each group needs hand in a declaration with register signatures to M204 to complete the registration.

五、注意事项Notification:

  1. 本比赛为EFL学生比赛，如队员中包含母语为英文之参赛者，则不符合参赛资格，无法参加比赛。

Since this is an EFL contest and the focus is to motivate students who live in countries where English is a foreign language, if participants come from a country where one of the official languages is English (or the participant has a passport from a country where English is an official language), that student cannot participate in the contest.

 

  1. 参赛者于参加此竞赛同时，即同意接受上述各项规范，本活动办法若有未尽事宜，主办单位保有随时修改、变更之权利并公告于中心网站上。若遇争议，经本活动评审团会议决议，迳由主办单位公告实施。

If there is any dispute regarding the regulations, the competition judges will have a meeting for resolution, and the decisions and revised regulations will be announced by the organizer online.

 

  1. 如于审查期间，发现图或文有抄袭，即取消比赛资格。

 If the judges find either the story or the photos are plagiarized, the group will be disqualified.

 

  1. 若得奖者经主办单位发现有图或文抄袭之嫌，即取消比赛得奖资格并收回奖金。

If the organizer finds any winning work is plagiarized, participants’ award will be canceled and prizes will be recovered.

 

  1. 如经审查发现内容涉及侵害他人色情、暴力或有妨碍社会正当风气之图像或文字，主办单位有权终止该作品参赛权。

            ​If the judges find any disturbing images (violence, nudity, or sexual content) the group will be disqualified. 

 

六、评分标准 Criteria:

英文表达或写作能力 English composition ability (30%)

描述图片之英文文法正确度以及单字使用准确率 Accuracy of English use

创意度 Creativity (30%)

内容创意　Creativity shown in the story and photos

整体表现 Overall presentation (20%)

图文搭配、内容完整性 Coordination between caption and photos

照片呈现 Photography (20%)

照片是否精美或有趣Photos’ quality & uniqueness

 

七、奖励办法Prizes:

分国际组及校内组评选 Each Group will have 1st, 2nd, 3rd prize and 2 Outstanding Awards.

第一名:每组3,000元奖金，各参赛者奖状乙只。

First prize: NT$ 3,000 & certificates.

第二名:每组2,000元奖金，各参赛者奖状乙只。

Second prize: NT$ 2,000 & certificates.

第三名:每组1,000元奖金，各参赛者奖状乙只。

Third prize: NT$ 1,000 & certificates.

佳作(二名):每组500元奖金，各参赛者奖状乙只。

Outstanding Award: NT$500 & certificates
